WordPress

Oh yeah... Now I remember what I didn't like about WordPress

I use WordPress to power one of my other blogs, and since I had some free time today I decided now might be a good time to upgrade to 2.5... and then I remembered one of the most irritating differences between WordPress and Drupal.... How the distribution of plugins/modules is handled within the community.

The Drawbacks of Using Drupal as a Blog...

I love Drupal, really I do... but I have to admit, there are certain features in which it lacks out of the box which are extremely useful to bloggers which after using WordPress for years, you sort of take for granted.

A good example of this is comment notification.

With WordPress, you receive email notification when you receive a comment or a comment is put into your moderation queue (though I've had trouble with the latter actually working), thus you don't miss things.
