Egads! A Finished Object!

Oh yes, there was something else I meant to post yesterday in that blog entry but then got so distracted about talking about NYC that I failed to mention it... I actually finished a knitting project!

Dublin Bay Progress

Believe it or not, I've actually been knitting! Yesterday, I finished doing the gusset decreases on the Dublin Bay Socks that I've been working on since... the middle of June.

I am seriously, the slowest knitter EVERER!

Proof That I Can Blog About Something Other Than Scrapbooking

Scrapping seems to have totally taken over my blog hasn't it? Kinda funny considering that scrap isn't the craft in the title...Knit is! I haven't been knitting nearly as much as of late, not because of a lack of desire but more a lack of time... but I have been knitting! I figured I'd take some time and show off the in progress stuff seeing as I finally took time to take some pictures for Ravelry today.

First off, the Tiger Eye Scarf in Yarn Pirate Bamboo/Merino/Nylon in the Sweet Lime colorway.

Thank Heaven for More RAM!

My new parts arrived last Wednesday. Matt disassembled my machine and then put both mine and my dad's together. We took my dad's over to their house on Thursday, but promptly forgot to bring an Ubuntu disk with us and downloading anything at their house is painfully slow... so we went back on Friday to finish up the job. Results, a computer my dad is happy with! Yay!

Baby Monkey Socks

Moving this pattern to be available over here. Smiling

The Baby Monkey socks were based on Cookie A's Monkey socks... It more or less is the same pattern, just pretty much halved.

This Weekend in Craftiness

In honor of Matt's 29th birthday which is next weekend, we decided to upgrade our camera. We now are the proud owners of a Canon Rebel XTi... It takes pretty snazzy photos.

We also hosted the second NH Ubuntu LoCo meeting this weekend, which gave me lots of time to spend knitting and spinning. I completed a two socks, and spun up a single... and I also finished up somedigital scrapbook layouts on this weekend. Creative things abound!

Socks and Scarves, Oh My!

I've been plugging away on three knitting projects as of late... Well... There's more than that on the needles, but these are the ones that have been getting the most attention lately. Yay mindless knitting!

First up, the Bellatrix socks.

Feather and Fan

While I was waiting for my husband to come home from work so I could take him to the airport, I ended up caving and casting on the Feather and Fan scarf. Thus far it seems to be knitting up nicely...

The yarn is Malabrigo worsted in Curacao.

Not one, but TWO pairs of socks finished!

Knitting wise, I got a lot accomplished this weekend. I finished not one, but TWO pairs of socks that have been on the needles for over a year.

First, I finished the Elfine's Socks. I finally seemed to memorize the pattern... It only took until the final repeat of the second sock though. Sigh.
