If you're a follower of mine of Twitter or a friend on Facebook, you already probably have a clue on what I'm about to announce... but I figured it was time for an official blog announcement.

I'm moving to New York City.

Primarily because of employment reasons... I've had a good three year run at doing the work from home thing, but the point has been proven.... I suck at it and I long to be working in an office...

I suppose this is really more of a vent than anything else... and probably there isn't much that can be said on the subject that hasn't already been said... but, I'm putting the scenario out on the table in case anyone I know has some words of wisdom and/or encouragement, cause I think we could really use them right now.

I say 'we' because this is about my husband and his employment situation.

It's probably best to start at the beginning, what he's doing now...

It's been awhile since I've really written much of anything, so as an update on my life...

In the middle of August I had my last day at Advomatic, I had a wonderful time working with them, but it was time to move on to bigger and brighter things. What I'm doing for now is theming work for Sony/BMG. (I got to do Billy Joel's theme!)

It's been... a rough week.

Nothing particularly bad happened per se, but emotionally I've been on edge... Probably partially attributable to the curse and most likely a direct result of the fact that took the last pill of my ADHD medication on Tuesday and didn't go and get more until Friday.

The medication situation was just me being lazy.
