This Week's Progress
I've been busy this weekend spinning mostly, I don't know why... I just have been in the mood to spin, it seems to take a lot less mentally than knitting or crocheting does right now.
I reclaimed two of my Hitchhiker bobbins yesterday and skeined up the Twisted merino/tencel blend, don't mind the ugly yarn that I used to tie up the skein (it's 1970s acrylic acquired from a friend's grandmother's stash after her death... it's the most vile yarn I've ever seen... but it works well for tying up skeins and bobbin leaders).
I also plied and skeined the Spunky Eclectic Mandy... Well, part of it anyway. This was the first stuff I've spun on the Fricke. I had split the roving in half for two singles, problem being my spinning technique improved by leaps and bounds between the first bobbin and the second bobbin, so the second bobbin had twice as much single. I'm leaving the leftover for when Ericka comes to teach me to Navajo ply, I think.
I started crocheting a baby blanket last week... I've gotten quite a bit more done that's in this photo, which I think was taken on Thursday. I'm aiming to get it done by next Saturday, but we'll see.
I started a baby bib on Tuesday night as well... I got the bulk of it done at ManchVegasKnitting on Wednesday. I'm further along than the photo of this one too... I have one of the neck straps done, and about halfway done the second neck straps.
I started spinning The Dyeing Arts Henrietta that I had floating around today. I'm about halfway done.
I haven't made much progress on the Jaywalker socks (but I haven't posted a photo recently, so I figured I would). I made a mistake maybe ten rows back, so I've been tinking back to fix because the mistake is just too big to ignore.
I also finished up the Karaoke scarf and forgot to post a photo.
Productivity
Look at you, creating and finishing all kinds of stuff!
I'm just plugging away on my black Hedgerow Coat, because I really, really want to wear it to work. Not to mention the tension of wondering whether this time it'll come out as a wearable object - my last me-sized sweater was a disappointment.

I really do think that it's just me trying to cope with not wanting to organize a bunch of crap.
