On the Way to NYC
I'm currently on a bus on my way to NYC for DrupalCampNYC4. Decided to try a new way to get to the city... LimoLiner. I'm impressed. It has wifi, they feed you a sandwich and sodas, and they have comfy leather seats. It's kinda like a first class plane ride, only it's a bus... and $89 one way is a pretty good deal considering that Amtrak is more expensive during peak travel hours, and they don't feed you or provide you with wifi.
I will say one thing... Wifi on a bus kinda isn't as fun as you'd think it would be. After an hour of using the Internet, I'd given myself a rather nasty headache from all the bumps in the road. The whole "working on the road" thing ended up being pie in the sky...
HopStop is also my new best friend. Travel directions via public transit and taxi fare approximations in several major cities (Boston, NYC, SF, DC, etc...)
