yarn pirate

So, apparently our dining room table is an absolutely fabulous place to take a picture of yarn... I took a picture of the latest Yarn Pirate Booty Club swag and it came out so beautifully, I just have to share...

I am seriously ashamed at how much yarn porn I have to share right now... I went absolutely nuts last week, not only did The Loopy Ewe do an update that included Yarntini, which was a "must buy" occasion but Miss Violet did a destashing sale and ermm... a lot of her yarn managed to make it into my stash. I also bought some stuff from Artsygal, but we decided it would be best if she shipped with my club shipment in January.

For the most part, it was a fairly productive weekend. I slept in on Saturday, and had the hankering to knit, problem being none of my WIPs were exactly what I wanted to knit... I have a dishcloth in progress, but I'm out of one of the colors of yarn, and I sorta want it to be uniformly colored... I have three socks going, but two of them were lace and required more concentration than I wanted to give, and the other is the most boring K2, P2 rib and not only is it boring, it's slow and on size 0 needles.
