I Have a Wheel (and yarn, and roving)

I'll be the first to admit, one of my least favorite things after coming home from traveling is writing the obligatory blog entries about how things went. Obviously, everyone wants to know how it went... but I always am so tired when I get home, and if I don't blog about it right away, I know I'm not likely to at all.

My main mission was complete, I did buy my Hitchhiker spinning wheel. I tried spinning on it this morning, but I was having issues getting the roving to attach to the leader yarn, so I ended up giving up... I figured I'd ask someone online for some ideas.

Obviously with a spinning wheel, I felt obligated to buy some roving... Two pounds worth!

Then as we were walking out, I spotted these two gorgeous hanks of yarn...

The funny post script to that is that I bought this from someone the New England Fibah-Heads group on Ravelry. I knew the name Spunky Eclectic was familiar, and I knew the girl at the booth looked vaguely familiar, but I couldn't place her. So of course, I looked it up when I got home and felt vaguely dumb for not talking to her for much more than it took to give her my money!

I can't wait to see what you

I can't wait to see what you make out of that fabulous roving! How cool. :)
