The Fiber Update
I've been working away on the Jaywalker sock, I finished turning the heel this weekend and have picked up the stitches on the side, so I'm well on my way to finishing it up sometime soonish.
I also picked up something quite shocking this past week... Crocheting! I blame it partly on one of my message board friends, LeAnna, who is quite the crocheter and partly on the fact that she pointed out Crochet Me, a new crochet site powered by Drupal, sna I couldn't resist joining but I felt wrong being a knitter and joining... so I picked up my hook and started making this scarf:
It's kinda crooked in spots, but I don't think it's bad for a first attempt at a crochet project.
I bought some yarn and roving from Twisted Fiber Art this week... Very pretty stuff.

Circle, 50% merino, 50% tencel.
It's spun up so far like this:

Also got this sample of Netherfield... Not something I would have normally bought, I think, but it spun up pretty and I'm considering getting more, if she ever has more of that colorway in her store.

ooh that roving looks so
ooh that roving looks so yummy.
