Not one, but TWO pairs of socks finished!
Knitting wise, I got a lot accomplished this weekend. I finished not one, but TWO pairs of socks that have been on the needles for over a year.
First, I finished the Elfine's Socks. I finally seemed to memorize the pattern... It only took until the final repeat of the second sock though. Sigh.
They fit.. but barely... I probably should have done another half a repeat on the foot of the sock before turning the heel... but it does fit.
I also finished the Generic Toe-Up socks (a combination of Wendy Johnson's and Hellchick's tutorials.
These were the first socks I ever started, and I guess I'd say they're a mildly successful disaster. They look ridiculous when they're not on your feet. The toe is super pointy and I short rowed the heel too pointy as well.... But, strangely enough, they're really comfortable, ESPECIALLY in the toe area. So, as long as you're wearing them, they look fine.
I'm just glad to be able to reclaim those needles!
