Bellatrix Sock #1 Finshed

Yet another milestone reached, the first sock of the Bellatrix pair is now complete.

Halfway through the first ones, I switched from a size 1 (2.25 mm) to a size 1.5 (2.5mm)... Not for any particular reason other than I bought some Addi Turbos and I forgot that what they call a size 1 is actually a 1.5... Fortunately, it didn't seem to have a gigantic effect on the gauge, so I guess I lucked out. I love the Addi Turbos with the exception that I bought ones that were slightly too short to be comfortable.... I bought 12" circulars thinking that would be fine for socks on 2 circs, but 18" is really the way to go, there's just a bunch more wiggle room... It's not that they're impossible to use or anything, it's just that 18" is more comfortable.

For some reason, I had a devil of a time getting the second one started... I kept dropping stitches and getting mad and frogging and trying again... However, the second sock is now in progress and I'm getting a bit closer to finishing the ribbing on it. At the rate I knit socks, I expect to be done sometime by the end of August.
